A relevant question.

Actually, I just love music, and as I've spent some time studying it, I thought the right place for writing this was just here.

Notes, notes, notes...

I apply the following basic concepts not only in music but also in any professional context:

Timing
Group behavior
Accuracy
Harmony
Intuition

My studies were comprised of:

Individual education: where I learned theory, scales, chords, scores, keys, standards (private lessons, schools)
Collective education: where I played in a band, learned how to relate and communicate with the other musicians and the audience (workshops, master classes, rehearsals and jam sessions)

Though I like all kinds of music, I must confess I have a preference for jazz.

I spent a few years in night and weekend classes studying piano and electric bass.
For me, feeling is more important than virtuosity (after all, the instrument is just a pretext for playing music).
